Since 20 buttons are not always and not always needed, Jager had to come up with a board design that allows you to assemble 3 versions of remotes, for 20, 12, and 8 buttons. The following is a process with pictures and short explanations.

Note that the contact pads for the buttons are not designed for 4 pin buttons, as it might seem, these are options for a different offset from the center, due to the design of the case.
